Thought of an idea for a mexican joint. Call it Desburrito, make everyone who works there dress up like Antonio Banderas and play only Eagles songs.

My brother threw this site together for people using Windows Smartphones who hate searching for capable media streams for their device. He’s got it set so you can vote on them to rank the stations. You can also add stations to the page as well. The site is clean usable and basic so that this can be done with a smartphone as well. If you add a link to the page make sure it is a link to the stream, not the stations site. Still trying to get Launch to stream on the Smartphone with out restreaming it from my desktop… Based on the Java and other items used in launch I don’t think it can work with the current browser.

FInally no more softball! At 1 and 7 we didnt expect to be part ofthe playoffs, but in this weird league (they took the bat away I used cause it was too short) We got to play the last place team 0 and 8 in the first round of the playoffs. To explain how bad this other team was. Almost every game we lost was by the 10 run rule and we beat this other team 27 - 2 so for the playoffs they didnt even bother to show.. .could you blame them… we didnt even want to be there. At least they called and let the league know. Anyway that gave us a good hour to warmup and prepare to get destroyed by the other team. It certainly could have been worse but I think the final score ended up being 19 - 5. Oh well, it was fun.

On wednesday of last week, I was at a convention for work. It is one of the bigger Higher ed Tech Conferences and just happened to be in Denver this year. Well they have a big part of the convention center set up for product vendors etc etc. I was out there looking for stuff were trying to impliment etc etc. At one of the vendors (office furniture) I was talking to one of their reps about some Video Conferencing stuff we’re looking for etc etc. He then randomly asked me to sit on a chair. It was one of their office chairs, that they sold. ANyway, I wasnt there looking at chairs or anything we were talking about meeting tables, but none the less he asked how the chair felt. I told him it was pretty comfortable. He replied “good it’s yours” I kind of brushed the comment aside but he kept saying I could have the chair. He Told me I could pick it up Thursday afternoon. He said they had an extra chair shipped by mistake and had no room to bring it back. SInce I was “local” he said If I had the means to take it I could. It was a nice chair too. At least 200.00. Unfortunatly for me I was to leave for Ohio thursday morning. SO I left a message with a coworker to go pick it up etc etc. And trust me to get a message saying hey A guy at the conference gave me a chair can you pick it up for me? Is kind of wierd. Anyway I left last Thursday to visit home for a few days and while at one of the layovers I called the coworker and being the somewhat jokester I am, he didnt beleive that note I left him at all. I had to convince him it was valid and hopefully he’d get the chair. If you see the chair I have at home right now youd want a new one too, so I was hoping hed go get it. Though i’d understand if he didnt cause it would be quite weird to roll a chair 4-5 blocks in downtown denver. This morning I rolled into work after A few Days in Ohio to find the Blue chair in My office. Looking at It something didnt look quite right. despite the color and the arm rests it seemed nothing like the chair the gentleman had me sit in several days earlier. In fact there was a small stain on it and it squeeked like hell. The tags were on the chair and I opened them up. Sure enough there were two chairs in the booklet. One that looked like the one in my office and one like the one that I sat in at the Convention. I wasn’t about to complain, Hell the chair I have at home was ready to die so, anything is a thousand times better. Later this morning the coworker that claimed the chair for me, wondered why I wanted such a crappy chair. I began to tell him that I swore I sat in a different chair. But i showed him the pamphlet with the two chairs and I pretty much assumed they took the good one home and since they said I could have a chair they gave me the crappy one. Roughly 30 min later that cowqorker came back to my office and with another coworker asked me to see something in another room. There sat the Good chair and they begin busting out laughing. I have been getting them pretty bad all month and they finally got their revenge. I must admit i was convinced They gave me the crappy Chair. Anyway A dumb story for a boring tuesday.

One thing I now realized that Denver doesn’t have that Ohio does is the Fall colors. It is much more drastic if you arrive in the middle of it. I’m used to living here and the gradual change. In Colorado its pretty much Evergreens and Yellow, All the trees go straight to yellow and then fall off. Its pretty and all but nothing like The leaves here in Ohio. I finally got the Moblog working and have the most recent image post to the right on this page. There is a pic of my parents backyeard with all the colors but its hard to see with the pic from my camera phone.

It’s gonna reach a high of 76 degrees today and what am I doing? yep heading on a plane for Ohio. I’ve had to deal with much worse in my life, I think I may get over this one. Its 5:30 am and I will be there by 3pm, It just wipes the day, plus the whole time zone change ehhhhh!

Bought this stuff over the weekend, and its pretty damn good. Had The Cravin’ Crab & Sweet Corn Chowder, Enough for lunch today and yesterday. Also bought the Fajita Chicken & Toasted Corn Chowder, but havent tried that one yet. Maybe for dinner tonight. So if anyone lives near a safeway pick it up, they have 14 varieties.

Finally got myself a new phone. Been here since Feb and still have my Ohio phone number. Most of it has been my laziness, but Eventually I found one that does all the stuff I want (Thanks to Kirk). Infact I can pretty much replace my pda with this thing. Its running msmoble os 03 with WMPlayer 10 , blutooth, IE etc etc Has a slot for a 256mb card so I’ll even have some Mp3’s on there. And finally I have a Camera Phone, it even has a little mirror on it for taking self portraits. DO all camera phones have that? Plus I got a killer deal on the phone and the plan thanks to my place of employment. Okay I really dont have the phone yet. It was shipped yesterday and I should get it today. The anxiety is killing me.

Well it wasn’t that long of a day, Just a 2 hour meeting that sucked. But anyway. So It seems that ever sinced I have gotten this wordpress blogware stuff running, My browser has been slow to accessing the site. Anyone out there have anyideas as to why, It’s kind of weird, I have to go to the page two or three times before it actually loads up, which almost seems like a server issue, though it seems awful coincedental for that…

Well Finally have this word press blogware setup, and I must say it’s pretty cool. I’m gonna have some fun with it I think. I still need to do some more stuff to it but It’s all good.

Have been a bit removed from here in a while. Probably laziness and lack of desire combined. Oh well nothing was missed at all. The highlight? Ski Passes were purchased this weekend. Aileen was able to pick up some voucher for Buy one Get one by starting a Student Checking account at a local bank. All I had to do was prove I was a student. I just gave them my work ID Which looks like a student ID Because it says University of Colorado on it and that did the trick. SO we each save 169.00. I talked to Kevin ANd Mark and it looks like they are gonna come back with us to ski when we visit in December. Will make the drive back a bit less dragging and much more entertaining. Also Kevin May come out here During Thanks giving to do some skiing. We are talking about getting a room up at the resort for that weekend. Can’t wait.
