I must agree with the Boing Boing Author that I read . “Pictures of glistening meat matted into heavily saturated, 1960s-style photos are surprising cool…”

Blast From The Past

Intellivision Lives is a cool site for Nostalgic Gamers and being a huge fan of the Intellivision I and II (still have the I with a lot of about 30games) I frequent this site every so often. But it had come to my attention this morning (thanks Shannon) that one of the free intellipacks (downloadable applications that play three old Games) has a bonus game “Minotaur” on it. Now you may remember this game and it’s origianl released title “Advanced Dungeons & Dragons: Treasure of Tarmin” One of my favs and easily classified as one of the original computer RPGS You can download it here Make sure you choose Intellipack 3. Now as my sis said “If only we had the blue sailboat wallpaper we’d be all set”

Educause Week!

It’s Been a Busy Busy week here in Orlando. I’m here at the Educause 2005 Conference partly as a podcast coorespondant for Educause. We will be posting several podcasts a day showcasing various sessions, members and presentations.

This has already become a very exciting and promising week, though I will be anxious to get home and rest. The last few weeks have had me running a million mph. One of these days i may get a chance to talk about the blazin wing contest! But i must save that for another night…Time for bed.

Seemed Fake

I was at a great wedding at a beautiful location this week up on the coast of northeren California. You cannot find more picture perfect scenery. We flew in on Thursday to San fransisco, met up with my friend Daniel who was also photgraphing the event and drov up the circa 4 hr drive to Remote Wesport CA (pop 75) No of use had any cell service the whole weekend, it was kinda nice. Friday was the wedding and Saturday we chilled out with the family and made our trip back to San Fransisco on Sunday. We then met up and took lodging with our friend Mike aka Krafty in the lower haight Area of Frisco. Had some good times Sunday and Monday anticipating a 5:10pm flight out back to Denver on Monday Night. That was when I heard about some snow storm that hit Denver. Upon hearing this news I decided to check the flight. I couldnt believe it, but the flight was cancelled in fact the whole airport was shut down. Not too terribly annoyed we booked a flight for the following morning as early as possible (6:25am) in order for myself to get back to work and Aileen make class. we had a short relaxing evening for we had yto wake up and be at the airport around 3am. It wasnt till 4:30 that we learned our flight was delayed until 9:42… Arghhhh we had to spend 6 hrs in this place. Not very exciting at all. Aileen and I tried to sleep the time away and eventually we departed fro Denver, CO. Flying in this “storm” seemed quite deceiving for there was abut a trace of snow. I couldnt see anything from the plane until we were near the airport. Turns out this storm mostly hit east of the City. When we got there pretty much everything was melted and there was maybe 6″ of snow to be removed from my car. Down town there was nothing. I’m not sure we have had such crazy travell delays this year, it is frustrating and time consuming but sometimes there is nothing you can do. It certainly didn’t dampen the great time we had and arghh I leave for Orlando in less than a week.

Google Office!

It looks like a deal was inked with Google and Sun’s Open Office Only time can tell where this will be going.

Two Days!

I never get tired of visiting Steamboat Springs. We had beautiful weather this weekend and the leaves were at their peak fall colors. It was great to see Matt and Tony and bring them to such a relaxing locale. I have most of the photos on flickr though the upload app has been crashing and making it a hassle to post the rest of the photos. Two days of work this week and then it off to San Fransisco for Mary’s Wedding.
