Possible Second Life Killer? Who knows. The proof will be in the pudding when it is launched in the near future. They are claiming better performance and more content control. Like most applications Second Life has its issues. That tends to be the perfect time for a competitor to capitalize. They will just need to do things right. We’ll see…

Heading back to Denver. Made it to Ohare, checked bags, through security and at my gate in 30 minutes! Time for a nap.
A Nice Picture taken from the window of our hotel conference room
I have been in Chicago all day working with my RawVoice colleagues. It’s been great yet just the beginning. We are here geeking out till Monday morning. Lot’s of cold and some snow but our little Hotel Conference room is staying warm.

Heading to Chicago today. Took about 45 min to get from parking to the gate. Not bad for Denver. It’s not quite 6am. I’m tired. Nap time!

The last few days here in the Denver Metro area has just plain stunk outside. Yes a wretched smell resembling roadkill, thawed garbage and vomit. Our original surmise to this odor had to do with the thawing of countless feet of snow we recieved the past month which was also thawing all the garabage and various crap that lay hidden underneath. It was extremely bad yesterday evening as I was leaving work. I actually had to cover my face I couldnt tolerate it. Of course it’s Pollution! When I did get home i realized that teh temperature had also dropped 10 degrees. Hmm maybe it isnt the thaw but something more weather system related. Sure enough: Pollution and Inversion! As most know by now, a really cool marketing campaign has been thrown down the drain because of the paranoid city of Boston. A bunch of little neon signs with a cartoon character were randomly hung throughout the city promoting a cartoon on the Cartoon Network. The city freaked and was pretty much shut down for an afternoon fearing a terroist attack was about to happen. The funny thing is that this campaign was also going on in 8 other cities with no issues what-so-ever. What is wrong with people? Are we really that paranoid? Should we be? Now, Tuner Networks is going to be paying the City of Boston $2 million in compensation for the cities idiots. I don’t know why this bothers me so much but it does. Oh and those little cartoon neon signs are now going for over 2grand on Ebay.
Every year and every week the TV ratings for American Idol get higher and higher. I don’t really get it but I also don’t care for or watch the show. I’d like to see a special episode aired this Sunday up against the Super Bowl. I think it would be an interesting test to see what sort of punch the show really has. Anyway, that’s my random thought for the day.
