We had a Potluck at work and the theme was foods from home/childhood. I decided to introduce Denver to the Beef on Weck. I Found Kaiser rolls but had to bake on the salt and caraway seeds. I was shocked, it actually came out well and my coworkers all seemed to like it. You don’t see the horseradish in the picture but I had a jar of it on the side.

Not sure why I pay the state 25 bucks for this emissions test just so I can qualify to pay another 130 bucks to register my car. I think it should be part of the registration fee.
9News Denver stopped in at the 29th AVE Animal Hospital to do a story about DNA Testing on your Dog. Jacques took center stage along with some of his canine friends. Aileen has a cameo too.
Cleveland needs to win one more to Meet the Rockies in the World Series. The Duke, The Bandit and the Wulf are flying in this evening from Akron and as soon as I pick them up were heading to my favorite watering hole to get some grub and cheer on the Tribe. Go Indians!
After the Cleveland Indians defeated those chumps from the Bronx last night we are down to 4 teams. 50% of them I am rooting for. After living in NE Ohio for a good 12 years I am a Die hard Tribe fan no doubt last night’s victory was priceless. I have adopted the Rockies as my NL cohorts since moving to Denver three and a half years ago. I figured hell, I dont have an NL team to follow and someone needs to root for the Rockies, Coloradans were not. Including Denver’s Sportscasters. Drew Soicher of KUSA in August stated the rockies didn’t have a chance. Who in their right mind says that about the team they are reporting on. I was shocked. That guy should be fired! That’s how it goes for teams in Denver that aren’t the Broncos. I guess it’s good that in a season that the Rockies are doing well that the Broncos suck bad. It was great to watch them go down hard on Sunday to the Chargers. Maybe Coloradans will now notice some of their other teams. Which is good because if the World Series ends up Colorado vs Cleveland, I will be rooting for the Tribe.
What a game! Rockies take it in dramatic fashion.
