Jacques is out of the Crate
November 29th, 2007 by The Knighthawk | Filed under base.It didn’t take much to crate train Jacques. In fact he took to the crate the day we go it. The problem was more about him not liking the crate when we weren’t home. It was evident when we set up a webcam to monitor him. He would freak out bark and spend most of the day trying to get out. That left a cut up nose on his end. It was kind of a no win situation. When we left him out of the crate he would chew up any pair of shoes or garbage he could find. He would also utilize a nice spot on the floor upstairs as a bathroom. With our sometimes long days at work we hated to see him stuck in the crate so we finally created a nice secluded place for him in the home office with more room. He’s limited to just that room but it is much better than the crate… we hope. I finally set up the cam this morning to monitor his behavior and so far so good. The last time I checked he was sound asleep. Please feel free to check Jacques out.
